Man Utd boss named “good” by Peter Schmeichel

Peter Schmeichel, a former goalkeeper for Manchester United, has said that Thomas Tuchel is a fine manager for the club.

Schmeichel has also stated his intention to back Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United at the moment, who is facing a lot of pressure due to the team’s bad performance this season.

In the Premier League, Ten Hag’s team sits in 14th place after last weekend’s scoreless tie with Aston Villa.

During an appearance on the Seaman Says podcast with Betway, Schmeichel spoke on Thomas Tuchel’s last two employment. He noted that Tuchel was at Chelsea and Bayern Munich at the wrong times.

As a coach, I have a lot of respect for Thomas Tuchel. It appears like he would be a good fit as Manchester United’s manager after talking to him, interviewing him, and seeing him at the Champions League and when he talks to his players about technical matters.

But I will back Erik ten Hag as manager as long as he keeps the club in the playoff hunt.

“Maybe we can discuss a change if that doesn’t work.”

After his departure from Bayern Munich a few months ago, Tuchel is now unemployed.
