The former Ekiti state governor, Ayodele Fayose, has been slammed by Mr. Paul Ibe, who was the media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, for issuing a 48-hour ultimatum to remove a comment that was made public about him. Ibe took to his verified X handle to vent his frustration with Fayose for confusing him with Phrank Shaibu.
According to the Gistcon, Fayose had severely criticised Atiku’s aide, threatening to reveal more information regarding the meeting with Minna unless the aide withdraws a remark criticising Fayose within 48 hours.
In response, Ibe asked whether the 48-hour ultimatum was excessively lengthy and stated that it simply proves Fayose’s stories are genuinely driven by certain old beverages.
Moreover, Ibe said that he could estimate where he gets his supply of aged beverages without consulting a witch doctor.
The spokesman for Atiku pleaded with Fayose, telling the former governor to come back to him if he gets better faster than his expected 48-hour recuperation period.
Peter Ayodele Fayose’s failure to differentiate between Ambassador Phrank Shaibu and my modest self, Paul Ibe, has not disappointed me.
It was actually Amb. Shuaibu, not Ibe, who wrote the statement headed “Peter Ayodele Fayose’s Beer Parlour Tales Of Infamy,” as you would have noticed if you read it. Do you think it’s conceivable that you were drinking when you read it?
“Emma, isn’t forty-eight hours a bit much? He enquired cynically, “Is it the 40-year-old Whisky or did you take an older version that requires more than 48 hours to ‘clear’ from your eyes?” for emphasis.
