The first leg of Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League playoff match against Juventus was a 5-2 victory, including an assist from Victor Osimhen.
In the 15th minute, Gabriel Sara put Galatasaray ahead. On the other hand, Teun Koopmeiners scored twice as Juventus rallied.
Five minutes after the half, Galatasaray’s Noah Lang scored an equaliser. At the hour mark, the lead was reclaimed by the hosts thanks to Davidson Sanchez.
With Juan Cabal’s dismissal in the 67th minute for a second bookable offence, Juventus were reduced to 10 men.
Osimhen set up the final two goals for Galatasaray, one for Lang and one for Sacha Boey.
On Wednesday of next week, in Turin, the return leg will take place.
