Verydarkman, a well-known critic and influencer in Nigeria, has accused Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, of threatening his life.
The accusation was made by Verydarkman in an Instagram video that went viral on Friday afternoon.
King Mitchy and Verydarkman have been feuding for some time now, and this is just the latest development in their feud.
King Mitchy, who remodelled a public school in six days with funding from Seyi Tinubu, reportedly had a feud with Verydarkman over her inability to account for public donations she got from 2025 onwards, according to the Gistcon. Responding, Verydarkman stated that Seyi Tinubu was funding King Mitchy’s charitable endeavours.
Nevertheless, Verydarkman urged the people to ensure that Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy are held responsible in the event that anything were to happen to him in a recent Instagram video. Then, when he was threatening Seyi Tinubu with death, he said:
Regarding the current situation, Nigerians, they are starting to threaten my life. My life is under danger from King Mitchy and Seyi Tinubu. Message sent by King Mitchy to my pal Kokopee last night. And this is a conversational element. “Hold VDM ooo,” she exclaimed.
This is a major issue, so we should either address it over the phone or find another solution. Right now, Seyi called me to give me the rundown. Discuss this with VDM; I’m scared after hearing what I did just now.
Please, Seyi, go far. I know what he told me over the phone. Stay safe, my friend. Someone is trying to kill me. I simply want to state that King Mitchy and Seyi are responsible for my safety. What they said over the phone is understood by both of them.
King Mitchy is frightened to death and wants to meet me immediately so that we can calm Seyi down; the latter is furious. The head of the IGP and DSS can be subdued under Seyi Tinubu’s leadership because of his immense influence and strength. He is capable of doing anything Seyi wants. Seyi Tinubu is pursuing me, and I want Nigerians to know that it’s because I’m criticising this regime.
Someone has made a death threat against me. You may hold King Mitchy and @seyitinubu accountable if something were to happen to me or my loved ones. I am terrified. This is serious. Both power and connections are in Seyi Tinubu’s hands. “I am not feeling safe,” he declared.
