The greatest candidate to succeed Governor Seyi Makinde in 2027 is Adedeji Dhikrullahi Olajide, a lawmaker from Ibadan North and South West in Oyo State.
While announcing his candidature for governor of the state in 2027, Olajide made the assertions. According to a statement signed by the congressman’s Special Adviser, Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, the legislator would run for office on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket.
Makinde reportedly urged anyone interested in running for governor to disclose their intentions a few hours ago, according to the Gistcon.
After pledging to build on the accomplishments of the present governor, Olajide stated that he is mentally prepared to take over as governor in 2027.
He stated that he consulted with political associates, leaders, stakeholders, and constituents before deciding to run for office. He went on to say that many in the state think he could use his background in public service and grassroots activism to help the state go forward.
I intend to build upon the work of Governor Seyi Makinde by increasing possibilities for inclusive government, social development, and economic growth in Oyo State in the coming years.
Our top priorities will be to establish a long-term economic foundation, provide chances for our young people, support business owners, and make sure that all of Oyo State’s communities benefit from development.
As we begin this adventure together, I want the people of Oyo State to keep me in their prayers, provide me with their support, and cooperate with me. We can take the state to new heights by committing to the common good and expanding upon the strong foundation that the Seyi Makinde government has established.”.
