Valencia lost 1-0 versus Celta Vigo at home, but Sadiq had two assists

In Sunday’s La Liga match, Celta Vigo defeated Valencia 3-2, with Umar Sadiq contributing an assist.

After coming off the bench to replace Hugo Duro in the 63rd minute, Sadiq took over the game.

Deep into stoppage time, Guido Rodríguez scored Valencia’s second goal, which was set up by the Nigerian international. In eleven league games for Valencia, the 29-year-old has contributed once, with an assist.

After spending time with Real Sociedad, the striker signed a permanent switch to Los Che in January. He was on loan to the team for the second part of the 2024–25 season.
