Burna Boy’s attack on DJ Tunez has been criticised by Wizkid, a well-known Afrobeat artist.
DJ Tunez, the official DJ of Wizkid, was reportedly pummelling to unconsciousness in a Lagos club on Monday night by Burna Boy and his henchmen for refusing to play their music, according to Gistcon.
The Nigerian DJ Association (NDJ) removed Burna Boy’s music from radio and television playlists nationwide after the violent attack.
In retaliation, Burna Boy was seen in an online video making fun of TJ Tunez while dancing on a towel.
Outraged by the situation, Wizkid slammed Burna Boy and his 10-man team for their altercation with DJ Tunez.
Wizkid accused Burna of dancing with singer Diddy’s towel while labelling him as a fool.
Pussy nigga jumps to the beat of a DJ’s music while ten men dance with a diddy towel. I will never again encounter such an imbecile as this diddy girl,” X was written by Wizkid.
According to the Gistcon, Burna Boy was allegedly involved in a same-sex relationship with the troubled American rapper Diddy.
However, he strongly refuted the claim, stating that his interaction with Diddy was only business-related.
In 2024, Diddy was taken into custody and subsequently handed a prison sentence for a number of sexual assault accusations.
