Link To Apply Federal Goverments inaugurates Renewed Hope housing delivery portal
Access to 100,000 homes throughout Nigeria is now possible thanks to the launch of the Renewed Hope Housing Delivery Portal by Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Nigerians, including those living abroad, can apply through the following website: Renewed Hope Cities and Estates https://renewedhopehomes.
On Tuesday in Abuja, Dangiwa declared during the portal’s launch that the ministry would remove all obstacles to home ownership for Nigerians in accordance with President Bola Tinubu’s agenda.
According to him, the cutting-edge platform offered an integrated, transparent, and user-friendly online application for the sale of houses under the ministry’s Renewed Hope Housing Program, which the president had previously launched.
He reminded them that the ministry had signed an agreement to supply 100,000 housing units across the country in December 2023 with a group of developers headed by Continental Civil.
He claimed that a crucial component of the collaboration was the newly launched platform.
I would like to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to the group of developers for their creativity. When the private sector is properly engaged, nations grow.
We will persist in supporting individuals who can truly contribute to our endeavors to realize the Renewed Hope Vision for housing delivery. This is our approach.
“The housing platform will also help us determine the nature of housing needs for various locations and demographics nationwide, which will enable us to achieve our goal of implementing a demand-driven strategy for housing,” the speaker stated.
According to Dangiwa, the ministry would soon have estates spread across three cities and twelve locations nationwide.
According to him, the cities are in Abuja, Kano, and Lagos, and the estates are located in Yobe, Gombe, Ebonyi, Abia, Nasarawa, Benue, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Katsina, Sokoto, Oyo, and Osun.
According to Dangiwa, the platform also included features that provided adaptable payment choices, taking into account various financial circumstances with one-time payments as well as installment plans.
The platform, he said, would make mortgage plans easily accessible, enabling prospective homeowners to verify their eligibility and submit an application from any location in the globe.
He also mentioned how the platform made equity contributions for mortgages easier for buyers to plan their finances.
According to the minister, purchasers may also request the release of up to 25% of the money in their Retirement Savings Accounts (RSAs) in order to receive further funding.
All Nigerians, Dangiwa urged, should utilize the platform to apply for the homes, noting that “you do not need to know anybody to own a home with the platform.” It is clear and the standards are accessible to
Marcus Ogunbiyi, the ministry’s permanent secretary, stated that although the ministry had been manually delivering houses for a number of years, it had made the bold decision to go digital.
According to Ogunbiyi, the development was meant to lessen human contact by making the houses accessible to everyone, independent of a person’s social standing.
He claimed that the platform had addressed these influences, so all Nigerians had to do was apply; if they were accepted, they would receive the house.
According to Amiolemem Marcus, the Ministry’s Director of ICT, the Renewed Hope Platform is a cutting-edge website created to improve home delivery and transform Nigeria’s mortgage and real estate industries.
According to Marcus, the website’s primary attributes and advantages encompassed its intuitive user interface, which streamlined the registration, search, and application procedures for both developers and homebuyers.
According to him, the extensive modules comprised the following: product application, property listing, mortgage application, payment gateway features, credit checks through cooperation with credit bureaus, onboarding, pre-qualification, and bank statement analysis.
Marcus said that it has real-time tracking, so among other things, buyers could keep an eye on the status of their applications and the milestones of their property development. NAN
