Omoyele Sowore’s mental health is a concern, according to Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide.
This remark was made by Omokri on Wednesday when he was answering questions on the Channels Television show Politics Today.
As a presidential contender, he claimed that Sowore suggested that Nigeria cultivate marijuana as a means of increasing the country’s economy.
Why Sowore is acting in this way is beyond me. “This person did this” is not an acceptable defence in a criminal prosecution. It’s an extremely simplistic justification.
There is a legal matter, therefore you must come out and defend yourself. That’s the idea. It is simply not feasible for any government to pursue criminal prosecutions against all individuals. Sowore needs to argue his case.
As a presidential contender, Sowore was asked how he would boost the Nigerian economy. He suggested growing marijuana and Indian hemp, which makes me concerned about his mental health.
This substance is prohibited in numerous nations and is regarded as ‘Class B’ in the United Kingdom. I thought that was the man’s main point about how that would help Nigeria’s economy.
So long as the soil in Nigeria can grow hemp for export, Omokri said, it should be able to grow other lucrative cash crops as well.
