The Ikorodu City football club in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) has hired Seyi Jones as its general manager.
Jones is no stranger to the role, having done similar work with 1472 FC and Smart City FC of the Nigerian National League (NNL).
Ikorodu City is hoping that his leadership and experience would take them to new heights. This season, Ikorodu City are aiming for a continental ticket.
After 27 games, the Oga Boys have accumulated 45 points, good for second place in the NPFL. On Sunday, in Benin City, matchday 28 will see Ikorodu City take on Bendel Insurance.
