An earlier notification saying that influencer King Mitchy, whose real name is Michelle Mukoro, had passed away has been removed by her management.
The influencer is doing fine, says her management in a recent post. Michelle is doing OK now, according to the message.
The controversy began when Mitchy and activist VeryDarkMan got into a violent online feud over claims made about her charity work, as reported by the Daily Post.
Even though VeryDarkMan has been in charge of public donations since 2025, Mitchy recently challenged him, saying that she renovated a school in six days.
When VeryDarkMan claimed that President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, was supporting Mitchy’s charity work, tensions rose even more.
According to reports, Mitchy’s business Instagram account was deleted as a consequence of the conflict. Supposedly a bleach product called “hypo” was consumed by the influencer in a scary live video.
Her representatives had previously stated that she passed away in Abuja’s Prime Care Hospital, explaining that doctors had tried and failed to revive her. They asked that the public respect the privacy of her family.
Contrary to popular belief, Prime Care Hospital denied ever admitting Mitchy and threatened legal action against those spreading misinformation.
