Buratai, a former army leader, claims that insurgency is not outnumbering forces

According to Lieutenant General Turku Buratai (rtd), the insurgency that is afflicting the nation, particularly the Northeast, is not posing a significant challenge to the Nigerian military forces.

During an interview on Friday’s “Politics Today,” a show on Channels Television that Gistcon watches, Buratai made this claim. The war against banditry and insurgency was the topic of his speech.

It doesn’t seem to me that the insurgency is putting too much pressure on the military. Not a problem. We now have additional drone enablers.

The military still requires additional platforms and enablers, notwithstanding the large number of platforms that have been injected.

Looking at the Northeastern United States alone reveals a massive landmass. Throughout our time together, this has been our central topic of discussion.

The soldiers are spread out all over the place. He mentioned that there are issues with manpower and equipment.
