Augustine Eguavoen, the interim coach of the Super Eagles, has just completed two training camps in Abuja and is now set to pick a final 25-man team for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Ghana.
In the course of the workouts, seventy players from the local league were evaluated.
The Super Eagles will head to Abuja for a closed training camp following their 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Rwanda and Benin, according to SCORENigeria.
Taking place from December 20th to the 22nd, the first leg will see the home team, the Eagles, travel to Ghana.
Abuja will host the rematch a week after that.
In the most recent CHAN, Ghana prevented Nigeria from advancing.
Players that are currently competing in their respective national leagues are the target audience for this tournament.
