Former Buhari aide Lauretta Onochie lays out El-‘sins’ Rufai’s

In light of Nasir El-Rufai’s continuing problems with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), Lauretta Onochie, a former media adviser to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, has accused him of three transgressions. El-Rufai was governor of Kaduna State.

According to Onochie, El-Rufai bribed airport security to evade arrest at Abuja International Airport, among other alleged transgressions.

In her X post, she listed the former governor’s phone-tapping equipment as yet another of his transgressions.

And while he was governor of Kaduna State, she said the ADC chieftain had stolen from the state’s coffers.

“The latest transgression by El Rufai,” she wrote.

Bribery has led to the arrest of officers. Reports indicate that El-Rufai allegedly paid airport officials to prevent his detention as he was in route from Egypt. His home was the site of the phone-tapping apparatus.

The first transgression is the theft of funds from the Kaduna State Government’s coffers. Nigerians can’t stop giggling as the list keeps getting longer. May Nigeria be blessed.
