On Sunday, in the quarterfinal of the English Women’s FA Cup, Brighton defeated Arsenal 2-0, thanks in large part to the stellar play of Super Falcons custodian Chiamaka Nnadozie.
The game was Nnadozie’s third straight shutout. According to Gistcon, the custodian has previously held Leicester City and Liverpool to a scoreless draw in Brighton’s league matches.
In Brighton’s match against the reigning European champions, goals came from Madison Haley and Caitlin Hayes.
In 18 appearances for the Seagulls this season across all competitions, Nnadozie has kept eight clean sheets. The summer saw the 25-year-old sign a free move with Brighton.
