In light of the escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has issued a list of emergency contact numbers for Nigerians residing in several Middle Eastern countries.
Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chairman of the Nigerian Disaster Management Commission (NiDCOM), issued a statement on the organization’s official X handle in which he asked residents of the impacted area to conserve phone numbers and maintain consistent communication with the closest Nigerian diplomatic missions in order to receive advice, aid, or immediate relief.
Dabiri-Erewa stated that the purpose of these hotlines is to offer Nigerians consular assistance in the event that they encounter security threats due to the escalating turmoil in the Middle East.
For the latest information on evacuation plans, travel warnings, and other emergency updates, she urged Nigerians to follow government sources.
