The 2025 FIBA Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament All-Star Team has been announced, and D’Tigress’ Victoria Macaulay is one of them.
Tuesday marked the final day of action in France, as the T’Digress were defeated by Germany 81–73 in their final match. The team managed by Rena Wakama ended the tournament with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses.
Among Nigeria’s best competitors, Macaulay stood out. The 35-year-old led the African champs in scoring and efficiency thanks to her paint skills and strength.
Janelle Salaun (who was voted MVP) and Marine Johannes (who was named All-Star) were the only French players on the all-star team.
Korean Leesuel Kang and German Frieda Buhner round out the all-star squad.
