Mohamed Salah, a superstar for Liverpool, has proclaimed Dominic Szoboszlai to be the greatest player in the world.
The success of the Hungarian national team, in his opinion, will determine their trophy chances this season. Salah addressed the media following Liverpool’s FA Cup victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, stating that the victory was monumental for the club.
He went on to say that the team’s confidence has grown thanks to the 3-0 victory. He spoke highly of Szoboszlai’s performance and said:
For us, this is a huge victory. Our confidence for the upcoming matches has been boosted. In my opinion, Szoboszlai’s performance determines whether or not the team makes it to the cup finals.
We put a lot of faith in him. Among the world’s top players this season, without a doubt. Winning prizes feels amazing. It would be great if we could continue.
Salah stated his desire to write his own narrative while discussing his game, stating that he did not want to be compared to Steven Gerrard.
My only goal is to keep playing and rack up as many points as I can. No way am I going to play Steven Gerrard this season. He may have been a club superstar, but I’m determined to write my own narrative. I always give each game my all.
“Our hope is that we can continue right up until the finish.”
Curtis Jones, Szoboszlai, and Salah scored for Liverpool in a 3-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at Anfield on Saturday, February 14.
