Prior to Arsenal’s match against Bolton in the Carabao Cup, Arteta acknowledges a double injury setback

Mikel Arteta, manager of Arsenal, has stated that captain Martin Odegaard will likely miss “a number of weeks” due to an ankle injury.

While on foreign duty earlier this month, Odegaard became ill.

Last week, Arteta revealed that his captain’s problem was “significant.” On Tuesday morning, though, he did specify when he would be away.

Oleksandr Zinchenko will also be sidelined for an extended period due to a calf injury, as the Gunners boss disclosed.

In my opinion, a few weeks should pass. “I am unable to disclose the exact duration,” Arteta stated regarding Odegaard.

When asked about the possibility of the Norway international making a comeback before the international break next month, Arteta responded, “We might get a surprise but I think it’s unlikely.”
