First Bank has posted its most recent job opening for a fresh graduate and clearly indicates what is expected of an employee. The recent one is for new graduates willing to start a career in banking and finance but with little to no experience. Interested candidates have to send their application before the deadline date possible.
First Bank, one of the oldest financial institutions in Nigeria, has declared that it is now accepting applications from graduates for its graduate program training. Organizations develop graduate programs to attract and grow new graduates into their labor pool.
The following message was posted by firstbank:
“The Graduate Trainee Program is an annual recruitment drive to attract young, brilliant, and talented individuals to take on the increase in workforce requirements across the organization. The program also offers a path for future leaders who will drive the Bank to new heights.
“This program is targeted at fresh graduates below the age of 27 with the right behavioral attributes and a minimum academic qualification of a bachelor’s degree with a second-class lower division or HND upper credit.
“It is input to the Bank’s career and succession planning for the creation of a pool of replacement candidates for all internal staff identified to other career opportunities across departments/directorates, thereby enhancing employees’ career mobility in the Bank.”

Not exceeding 27 years by 30 September 2024
At least five credits, of which English and Mathematics are mandatory, at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)
Position: University Educational Qualification – At least Second Class Honours, Lower Division, or HND, Upper Credit NYSC discharge by 30th June 2024
