The Lionesses of Senegal have arrived in Abeokuta for their first leg qualifying match against the Falconets of Nigeria in the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup third round.
The Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta will host the match on Saturday.
The match was rescheduled from the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan, to Abeokuta because of the subpar playing surface at the original venue.
The first training session since the Senegalese girls’ arrival in Nigeria was on Wednesday night.
On Friday, they will get a feel for the Moshood Abiola Stadium.
In a later match this year, the victor of the Guinea Bissau vs. Malawi match will face off against the victor of the tie.
