The internet star and content creator VeryDarkMan is worried about his safety after socialite King Mitchy issued a public apology.
A “decoy” meant to deceive the public, according to the activist, may be Mitchy’s apologies.
According to Gistcon, Mitchy apologised to VeryDarkMan for confronting him before and acknowledged his advocacy in a direct approach to him.

With any luck, I get you better now,” Mitchy remarked. According to her, the activist is fighting for a better Nigeria and needs more people on his side than against him.
Responding to this, VeryDarkMan hinted on Sunday on Instagram that the apology might have more serious consequences.

He continued by saying that he is the victim of a targeted attack and that certain people should face consequences if anything were to happen to him.

VeryDarkMan further asserted that, throughout the conflict, he was the target of intimidating communications received through mutual contacts:

Additionally, he cautioned against any attempts to frame him for a crime:
If word gets out that they found drugs or Igbo in my brother’s car, or anywhere else, they will set me up. If you hear say I do fraud, money laundry, anybody send me money, na them set me up.
“Anything is possible. Or if you hear say I carry firearm, oh, there’s small pistol in my car, na them set me up. Anything these people do, anything to send me to prison,” he said.
