“We don’t need to be best friends,” Omotola says in response to Genevieve’s purported animosity with her

The rumoured conflict between Omotola Jalade and Genevieve Nnaji, two of her colleagues, has been addressed by the famous Nigerian actress. According to Gistcon, the general public views the actors as being on bad terms with one another.

In response to the widespread belief, Omotola stated in an interview with Yanga FM that “people don’t need to be best friends” and made it clear that the two were never in an argument.

“Na them start the quarrel before we know we’re going to quarrel,” Omotola remarked, accusing supporters of trying to turn them against each other. So, the argument needs to be addressed. No argument occurred.

“Had there been anything comparable to a twenty-year-long argument preceding EJ’s film?” the interviewer probed further.

No one has to be best friends, but Omotola did say that they had a conversation. Like, we just converse normally when we’re not filming. The same thing happens when they launch a new project involving a famous musician; we were involved at the time. It was the practice at that time, no.

Now that Wizkid and Davido have reached new heights, we can claim the title as the pioneers. Truly, they begin to argue before we even realise we’re arguing. So, the argument needs to be addressed. No argument ensued.

Remember when we were young? Now everyone’s off doing their own thing. You have a good grasp of the industry. They will place you against this individual and make comments about how hot this female is and how hot that chick is. So, generally, those kinds of stress go down, but people see me as something else.
