The reliance on striker Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray has been cautioned by Turkish sports analyst Şansal Büyüka.
Büyüka warned the Turkish Super Lig winners that they risked disaster if they relied too heavily on Osimhen for goals.
When asked about Galatasaray’s performance in their last two matches, Büyüka stated, via Habersarikirmizi, that the team had “somewhat overcome their dependence on Osimhen” on the Sports Digitale YouTube channel.
For Galatasaray, this is a monumental step forward. Galatasaray will gain a lot from the quick transition from a solo effort to a team effort.
“We have observed in the past that fixating exclusively on Osimhen leads to grave issues.”
This follows Osimhen’s previous performance, in which he assisted Galatasaray to a weekend Turkish Super Lig victory over Rizespor.
Osimhen has been a major contributor for Galatasaray this season, making 21 appearances across all competitions and scoring 15 goals.
