After Sunday’s 3-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, Everton defender Ashley Young took aim at Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
The pair exhibited a lack of self-assurance in their performance against Tottenham at Old Trafford, according to Young, a former Manchester United player.
Spurs won thanks to goals from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke; Erik ten Hag’s team couldn’t get any help from Garnacho and Rashford.
After the match, Young spoke with Sky Sports and expressed his displeasure with Rashford and Garnacho.
According to him, it was evident today that when facing up against one other, wingers Rashford and Garnacho would opt to play the safe pass rather than attack the space in behind.
