The Enyimba squad is laser-focussed on their match against Bendel Insurance on matchday 25 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), according to midfielder Edidiong Ezekiel.
This week, the People’s Elephant players went on strike due to unpaid entitlements.
The administration of Abia State and the club’s upper management have both taken notice of the situation.
This next weekend, at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, the People’s Elephant will square off against Bendel Insurance.
Edidiong has given his word that the squad want to conclude the year on a high note.
“We are focused on the task ahead,” Edidiong told Naifooty of Saturday’s match against Bendel Insurance in Benin.
“At this point, we want to emphasise the importance of our loyal fans’ unwavering support. We truly appreciate their backing, and we assure you that we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure a successful season finale.”
