After being evicted from Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard,’ housemate Handi Danbaki has stated her intention to sue her former coworker Ben.
Ben has allegedly threatened legal action against Wanni and Handi following their accusations that he sexually assaulted Handi on the show, as reported by GISTCON.
In response to Ben’s legal threats, Handi explained in a recent interview with Classic 97.3 FM, Lagos that she chose to ignore the situation as Ben had apologized while they were on the show. However, she was taken aback to hear that he had threatened legal action.
After the Saturday night party, Ben whispered in her ear, “That’s not who I am, that’s not who I am.'” So, she replied, “I forgot about the issue.”
As he sobbed into my ear, I decided to drop the lawsuit. I chose to ignore it because of that. Yet he accomplished that. You did what you needed to do, I told him.
Biggie should have shown me the movie or something; after all, I am a woman and I am familiar with my own anatomy.
When someone wrongs me, I can tell. I am not a child. Also, if I’m not sure who did something to me, I will never publicly admit it.
Even though I’ve decided to put it out of my mind, I will not budge from my position.
If he insists on taking it to court, I will be prepared to defend myself.
