Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, a minister of the Church of Christ in Nations, has come clean about his role in a 1978 Jos bank heist.
In an interview with a foreign media outlet, the contentious priest recently revealed this information. While highlighting that a close associate was in charge of the heist in Plateau State, Rev. Dachomo admitted that he was a member of the gang that pulled it off and stole a lot of money.
While I was fast asleep, he entered my room. Until Jesus met me, I had no idea that I was battling fourteen demons.
“War broke out that night. He was accompanied by seven celestial beings. I was merely a bystander, taking in all the drama unfolding in my life. The seven angels were sent out by Jesus to take down the enemy.
Indeed, they met an untimely demise. As if I were dead, I covered myself in the covers of those images that were slaughtered. Jesus, our lord, emphasised, however, that we had not yet slain anyone.
“Find him, go get him. I got to my feet and started pleading as they approached, booting other bodies. I was pleading with you to forgive me. Pardon me, pardon me. He vowed never to do it again.
The cleric admitted his past criminal involvement saying, “Because I went in 1980, it was our gang that robbed a bank in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. They were able to get away with a tidy sum in 1980. My best friend was in charge of the operation.
This meeting, he claims, was a watershed moment in his life. It was a complete surprise to me to meet God, and God was a great help. I walked outside on the same day that I met Jesus. I tried my best to smoke a cigarette or cool it. In my life, smoking lost its potency.
