The loss of Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, the House of Representatives member for the Eket/ONNA/Esit-Eket/Ibeno Federal Constituency, has been felt by Mr. Okpolupm Etteh.

In his remarks, Etteh, a member of the House Committee on Army, praised the late general’s leadership and patriotism, saying that they elevated the Nigerian Army to new heights and helped the force accomplish its goals of peace and national security.
He reassured his loved ones and all Nigerians that they should be strong and found comfort in the fact that late Lagbaja was selflessly committed to serving others when he was alive.
The nation has suffered a great loss with the passing of the Army Chief, and he conveyed his deepest sympathies to his loved ones and colleagues who have suffered a similar fate.
The congressman expressed his deepest sympathies to the Nigerian Army and Lagbaja family on the passing of Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja, who was 56 years old.
