Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Portugal national team, will miss out on the forthcoming friendly matches against the US and Mexico.
Ronaldo flew to Spain to get treatment for a hamstring problem, as reported earlier this month by Al Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus.
The following two Saudi Pro League victories, against Neom and Al Khaleej, were without the 41-year-old.
Because of this, Ronaldo will not play until he has fully recovered from his injury.
His club and country have discussed the upcoming World Cup and have determined that he should concentrate on getting well as soon as possible.
