The fuel price spike has been making me upset, so I’m reaching out for assistance

As a result of the recent spike in petrol prices, Kunle Afolayan, a well-known Nollywood actor and businessman, has asked for assistance.

Afolayan admitted in a video that has gone viral that, even though his KAP Film Village has solar power, he still spends N11 million on diesel every month.

With a heavy heart, Afolayan bemoaned his financial woes, stating, “It’s not sustainable because even the diesel we have been buying was on credit and when we make small money we find a way to pay. Sometimes it takes two months to pay and then get another one on credit.”

The actor used the phrase “I need a load” when appealing to the public for assistance. To improve our solar power, we require a loan. I would be eternally grateful if you could come to our rescue.

I have been depressed because the N1,500 diesel price per litre is too much for me to bear. We spent almost N11 million in just four or five weeks at Cab Village, one of our enterprises, so I still don’t get it. Diesel is still a major expense, despite our solar electricity.

I have been down since the news of the higher diesel price was announced. From 995 to 1000 naira and beyond 1,500 naira, he said.
